Started in 2012, the Creighton Farms Invitational Hosted by Jack Nicklaus is one of a handful of elite tournaments created by Mr. and Mrs. Nicklaus to benefit the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. The inaugural 2012 Creighton Farms Invitational came about because of the Nicklaus family’s interest in helping children gain access to world-class health care in their own backyard.

Over the past four years, this event has raised nearly $2.5 million for the Foundation, most of which has stayed in the Washington, DC Metro area and provided support for projects at local pediatric hospitals.

To honor the memory of Jake Walter Nicklaus, beloved grandson of Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, the Nicklaus Family created a golf tournament in 2005 named "The Jake". The annual event consists of a dinner, auction and pro-am golf tournament held at The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Florida, and serves as the Foundation's primary fundraising event.

This year was the third year in a row The Jake has reached the $2 million mark in funds raised to help the Foundation support the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

The inaugural Lost Tree Pro-Member in 1964 was what motivated Jack Nicklaus a year later to relocate his family from Ohio to Lost Tree Village in North Palm Beach, Florida and the Nicklauses have lived there ever since. So, it was only fitting that starting in 2005, Lost Tree's residents changed the beneficiary of the Pro-Member to the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation. The Pro-Member Tournament pairs a professional from the world of golf with each foursome.
