Jack Nicklaus founded the Memorial Tournament in 1976. The Memorial, held annually at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, is Nicklaus' way of bringing world-class golf to the passionate fans of Ohio.
The Memorial Tournament, Nationwide Insurance, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation have formed an alliance to support pediatric health care. This enhanced relationship enables the Memorial to increase its long-standing support and promotion of Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Funds generated by the Memorial Tournament benefit the Memorial Tournament NICU at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

The Miracle Match Fund: Supports the expansion of Child Life Services at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

The Nicklaus Spirit Award: Designated by the award recipient to help fund new toys and games for the patients at the Pediatric Cancer Research and Treatment Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

The NICU Neonatal Absitence Program: Supports programs and services focused on weaning newborn drug dependency related to their mother's drug addiction.
- Cleft Palate Center Expansion: Funds will assist in continuing to build and develop new programs related to the Cleft Palate Center.
